3. Service Agreements

All security and risk management services are provided under formal service level agreements (SLAs) or signed contracts, which override any website content.

Key points include:

  • Service scope, hours, and deliverables are defined per client

  • EBS Security Group is not liable for loss, injury, or damage beyond what is stipulated in the signed agreement

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring safe working conditions for deployed staff

4. Quotations & Pricing

All quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise. Acceptance of a quote does not constitute a contract until formally agreed upon in writing.

Prices are subject to change based on:

  • Site assessment findings

  • Labour legislation changes

  • Fuel or inflation adjustments (if contractually applicable)

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide access and cooperation to ensure service delivery

  • Inform EBS Security Group of known risks, safety hazards, or changes to the site

  • Not interfere with deployed personnel or tamper with systems installed

6. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, training material, logos, and website design are the intellectual property of EBS Security Group. No material may be copied, reproduced, or reused without written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

EBS Security Group will not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential loss

  • Damage arising from client negligence or third-party interference

  • Breach due to force majeure events (e.g. natural disasters, civil unrest)

Our maximum liability under any service agreement is limited to the value of the affected month’s invoice, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Data Protection

We handle all personal data in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, share or misuse your data.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be handled through appropriate legal channels within South Africa.
